Role overview

Responsibilities

• Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications with business stakeholders.
• Participate in design sessions and provide technical support, technology recommendations, and architectural decisions.
• Perform Salesforce customization, configuration, and custom development using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flow Builder.
• Design and maintain REST and SOAP API integrations with internal systems, third-party applications, and databases.
• Act as a techno-functional liaison between business processes, IT delivery partners, and implementation teams.
• Conduct performance tuning, code reviews, and troubleshooting for platform scalability.
• Oversee Salesforce delivery across implementations, enhancements, rollouts, and AMS support.
• Maintain technical specification documents and stay current with Salesforce releases and best practices.
• Transfer domain knowledge to peers and drive technical quality standards.

Minimum requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer and techno-functional consultant is required.
• Expertise in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and SOQL/SOSL is required.
• Experience with functional requirement gathering, business process mapping, and technical configuration is required.
• Experience with REST/SOAP services, JSON/XML conversions, and middleware integrations is required.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP or other third-party platforms is required.
• Knowledge of Salesforce security, custom objects, Flows, validation rules, and deployment tools is required.
• Experience with full-lifecycle implementations, enhancements, rollouts, and AMS support is required.
• Analytical, problem-solving, self-management, and communication skills are required.

Preferred skills and experience

• A B.Tech or MCA degree is preferred.
• Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, or Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect certification is preferred.
• Background in Salesforce development, Java, web services, or API management is preferred.
• The preferred experience range is 3–5 years.
