About the Role

  • As a Sales Specialist, you will expand Dow Jones' footprint across the Middle East by driving adoption of geopolitical, security and macroeconomic analysis.
  • You’ll partner closely with Sales Generalists, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.

About the Team

  • Global Risk Insights provides geopolitical, security, macroeconomic and regulatory insights to financial institutions, corporations, universities, government agencies, and executives.
  • This role drives sales for Global Risks Insights on Oxford Analytica and Dragonfly platforms as well as bespoke advisory projects.

You Will

  • Own and drive complex, high value sales cycles for Global Risk Insights solutions across Middle East.
  • Create a sales strategy to maximise revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Lead advisory discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceed sales target and role based KPIs.
  • Drive strategic pursuit planning and pipeline development.
  • Contribute to or lead writing of proposals and technical documents.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Participate in or lead negotiation of terms and prices.
  • Contribute to thought leadership through events and workshops.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Maintain accurate sales reporting and pipeline forecasts.

You Have

  • 7+ years of quota carrying experience in enterprise sales or business development.
  • Focus on geopolitical/security/macroeconomic/data or analysis space.
  • Proven success in selling to large enterprises and managing complex deal cycles.
  • Ability to navigate strategic accounts and build influence at executive level.
  • Strong commercial acumen with consultative selling skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across matrixed teams.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills.
  • Regional experience and cultural fluency.
  • Business level proficiency in English required; local language is a plus.
  • Experience in field sales and willingness to travel (approximately 30%).
