Role overview
Essential Cuisine is recruiting a full-time Sales Order Processor for its busy team.
The role reports to the Sales Supply & Distribution Manager and works with sales, operational teams, warehouses, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the finished goods warehouse and goods-in warehouse in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain the accuracy of all sales orders within Sage 200.
- Apply knowledge and understanding of export procedures.
- Liaise with customers and suppliers and handle queries.
- Check stock levels.
- Anticipate and identify problems and own them through to conclusion.
- Understand external factors affecting the business and their implications.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience with Sage or another ERP system is advantageous, but training will be provided.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Confidence speaking with customers by telephone.
- Ability to work on one's own initiative.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
- Flexible approach to work.
- Ability to solve problems.
