Key Responsibilities

  • Including, but not limited to:
  • Develop and implement leisure sales strategies to achieve revenue and occupancy targets.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new leisure accounts and business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, and DMCs.
  • Negotiate contracts, preferred rates, packages, and promotional agreements.
  • Promote the hotel’s accommodation, dining, leisure facilities, and guest experiences.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, client visits, presentations, and property inspections.
  • Develop business opportunities across key local and international leisure markets.
  • Attend travel trade shows, networking events, roadshows, and sales missions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, seasonal demand, and destination developments.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts, sales activities, contracts, and production.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market updates for management.
  • Collaborate with Revenue, Reservations, Marketing, Front Office, and Operations teams.
  • Coordinate leisure promotions, campaigns, familiarization trips, and partner activities.
  • Ensure a smooth booking process and exceptional service delivery for leisure clients.
  • Handle client inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, brand standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Proven experience in leisure sales, preferably within the luxury hotel or hospitality industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai’s leisure, tourism, and travel-trade market.
  • Established relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, wholesalers, and DMCs.
  • Experience managing international leisure markets is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong business-development and account-management capabilities.
  • Commercially aware, proactive, creative, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel sales or CRM systems.
  • Professional fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Flexibility to attend trade events, client meetings, and networking functions.
