Overview

We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to join our team and lead the development and execution of innovative sales and marketing strategies—particularly in the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Propose short, medium, and long-term marketing plans and strategies for the company.
  • Develop marketing plans and programs to grow the company’s sales and increase market share.
  • Design specific marketing strategies aimed at customer retention.
  • Follow procedures that enhance customer service and ensure ongoing follow-up.
  • Provide recommendations and suggest new methods to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor marketing metrics and trends and analyze customer activities.
  • Select and review customer relationship management systems that align with the company’s needs.
  • Conduct various marketing research activities to track trends, understand customer requirements, and analyze competitors.
  • Carry out regular field visits, follow up on sales results, and meet with potential clients.
  • Lead and guide the sales team, including setting targets, providing training, and motivating employees to meet objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to monitor consumer trends and identify customer needs.
  • Negotiate with key clients, such as retailers and distributors, to secure profitable deals and achieve sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly sales reports for senior management, including analysis of results and future forecasts.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with local and international laws and regulations related to the marketing and sale of tobacco products.
  • Explore new markets or potential consumer segments for tobacco products.
  • Identify expansion opportunities in new markets.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of products and availability across different markets.
  • Improve distribution channel management to broaden customer reach.
  • Monitor competitor movements and analyze their strategies to identify opportunities and challenges in the market.
  • Periodically review and analyze sales performance using reports and data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Design and implement incentive programs for the sales team to boost motivation and performance.
  • Ensure the sales team fully understands new products and how to market them effectively.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback regarding products and services and work to continuously improve the customer experience.
  • Follow up on customer complaints and work quickly to resolve them to ensure full satisfaction.
  • Participate in negotiations for signing business contracts with clients and distributors.
  • Study competitors’ offers and present innovative and competitive solutions to increase market share.
  • Stay up to date with the industry developments, including new technologies and product innovations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key business partners (such as agents and distributors) and ensure continued successful collaboration.
  • Evaluate partner performance and work to improve mutual cooperation.
  • Develop possibility plans to handle unexpected challenges that may affect product sales, such as price fluctuations or logistical issues.
  • Perform any other tasks assigned within the scope of the role.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in the sales field.
  • At least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, sales analytics tools and Microsoft Office; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Fluent in English additional languages are a plus.
