In line with our ongoing growth and strategic expansion, we are seeking to appoint a dynamic and results-driven **Sales Executive specializing in Land Transportation**.
This position will play a key role in supporting the sales and business development activities of our heavy truck transportation division, encompassing both cross-border and domestic operations.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening our market presence while supporting sustainable business growth across the GCC and the wider Middle East region.
The Sales Executive – Heavy Truck Transportation will be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, while actively promoting and selling Cannata’s heavy truck transportation services.
The role requires a proactive approach, including regular field visits, gaining a clear understanding of client logistics requirements, and providing tailored transportation solutions to meet specific business needs.
In addition, the position carries responsibility for achieving agreed monthly sales targets and fostering long-term business partnerships to support client retention and continued growth.
The company offers a monthly salary of AED 3,000, subject to the achievement of agreed monthly sales generation targets.
In addition, a performance-based commission structure is provided, offering further earning potential in line with individual performance and results.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with clients across the UAE, GCC, and wider Middle East region, with a focus on targeting domestic land transportation clients for shipments across all Emirates, in order to generate new business opportunities and successfully close sales for heavy truck transportation services.
- Promote and effectively position the company’s cross-border and domestic trucking capabilities, including Full Truck Load (FTL), Less Than Truck Load (LTL), and customs clearance solutions.
- Prepare, present, and follow up on customized quotations and commercial proposals aligned with client requirements and company guidelines.
- Identify emerging market opportunities, assess competitor activities, and contribute to the development of strategic sales initiatives to enhance market share.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with clients to ensure high levels of engagement, satisfaction, and long-term relationship development.
- Coordinate closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of services and adherence to delivery timelines.
- Monitor shipment movements, ensure timely Proof of Delivery (POD) collection, and obtain client feedback to support service improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospects, leads, and sales activities within the CRM system.
- Report directly to HR and management, ensuring alignment with company policies and performance expectations.
- Take full responsibility for achieving individual monthly sales targets, with a focus on net profit generation.
- Ensure accuracy in documentation, effective client communication, and seamless handover of confirmed business to the operations team.
- Maintain end-to-end ownership of customer satisfaction, from initial lead generation through to post-delivery follow-up.
- Represent Cannata Worldwide Cargo Services in client meetings and commercial negotiations within approved pricing and authority limits.
- Propose and support promotional initiatives, participation in trade events, and localized marketing activities, subject to management approval.
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client-specific service requirements and ensure tailored logistics solutions.
Requirement
- Strong knowledge of GCC cross-border road freight and domestic transportation, customs procedures and heavy vehicle transport regulations.
- Excellent client relationship and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
- Proven track record in B2B logistics sales or the transportation sector.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of sales experience in land transportation or logistics services within the GCC.
- Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel regularly across the GCC.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
