Role Overview
Senior commercial content role responsible for international sales and distribution strategy.
The portfolio includes original Turkish and Arabic entertainment content.
The role requires an established international network across broadcasters, streaming platforms, distributors, studios, and content buyers.
Remit
- Develop the international content sales and distribution strategy.
- Monetize Turkish and Arabic original productions.
- Build relationships with broadcasters, OTT platforms, distributors, and global media groups.
- Negotiate licensing, distribution, and rights agreements.
- Manage international sales agents and distribution partners.
- Identify new territories and commercial opportunities.
- Manage deal structures, content valuation, and revenue potential.
- Monitor sales performance and revenue flow.
- Work with senior content leadership on rights, windowing, and commercial strategy.
- Support international expansion of Arabic productions.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 12 years of experience in television, streaming, studios, production, or content distribution.
- Significant experience in international content sales, licensing, and/or distribution.
- Strong existing network of international buyers for Turkish content.
- Excellent knowledge of Turkish and/or Arabic entertainment content.
- Experience selling scripted content internationally.
- Strong understanding of rights, licensing, windowing, and digital distribution.
- Proven commercial negotiation and deal-making experience.
- Experience with broadcasters, OTT platforms, studios, distributors, or production companies.
- Strong commercial and analytical capabilities.
- Previous leadership experience.
Relevant Background
- Experience in a major studio, broadcaster, streaming platform, production company, sales agency, or international distributor is particularly relevant.
