About the Role and Team
Join Amplitude's U.S. Sales Development team as a Sales Development Representative.
Generate opportunities while developing toward future roles across the organization.
Serve as a first point of contact for potential customers and support pipeline generation and revenue growth.
Work across sales, marketing, and account management for an analytics platform.
What You'll Do
- Run outbound prospecting, follow up on inbound MQLs, and convert field event registrants and attendees into pipeline.
- Target key accounts using personalized campaigns, strategic research, and account-level signal analysis.
- Build product knowledge to support discovery calls and evaluation cycles with potential customers.
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, personalize outreach, and identify relevant accounts and contacts.
- Collaborate with Account Executives, SDR Leadership, and Enablement teams to share best practices.
- Exceed quarterly and annual targets while maintaining a high standard of excellence.
- Work from the New York or San Francisco office every Tuesday through Thursday.
Minimum Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong track record of consistent success across academics, athletics, work, or internships.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented settings.
- Curiosity, empathy, and a genuine drive to keep learning.
- Ability to take initiative, solve problems proactively, and drive measurable results.
- Openness to feedback and commitment to continuous professional development.
- Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-accountability environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and managing pipeline in a high-growth environment.
- Comfort experimenting with and improving sales processes using data and analytics.
- Familiarity with SaaS sales tools, systems, processes, and AI-powered prospecting tools.
Compensation
- The San Francisco Bay Area salary range is $74,000 to $112,000 in total target cash, inclusive of bonus or commission.
