- Raise awareness and generate interest for Avetta through cold calling, emails, and social outreach to prospective customers
- Schedule initial discovery calls for Account Executives
- Meet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums of 80 100 activities (calls + emails)
- Manage own book of accounts and set strategy for effective book management
- Become a power user of Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Chili Piper and Gong
- Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the SDR role
- Collaborate with team members to share and learn from best practices
- Maintain a schedule aligned with the business hours of assigned region
- Travel to attend sales conferences, events, training sessions as outlined by management
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of sales experience (ideally as an SDR) working with Mid Market accounts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High degree of resilience
- Player mindset and strong work ethic
- Coachable and willing to receive feedback
- Ability to complete a minimum 8 hour in office workday

Summary
- The Sales Development Representative is responsible for outreach to prospective clients to identify potential customers and set qualified appointments for the field sales team.
- This is a hybrid role, working three days a week in the Calgary office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Raise awareness and generate interest for Avetta through cold calling, emails, and social outreach.
- Schedule initial discovery calls for Account Executives.
- Meet or exceed assigned daily activity minimums of 80 100 activities (calls + emails).
- Manage your own book of accounts and set the strategy for effective book management.
- Become a power user of Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, Chili Piper and Gong.
- Provide constructive feedback on how to improve effectiveness and efficiency within the SDR role.

Ideal Experience, Education & Training
- Minimum of 6 months of sales experience (ideally as an SDR) working with Mid Market accounts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Metrics That Matter
- Ability to complete a minimum 8 hour in office workday.
- Minimum of 10 qualified meetings per month.
Compensation
- Hourly rate of $24.03 per hour, commission eligible.
