Role Overview
The Sales Development Flex Manager serves as a floating first-line SDR Manager across the Sales Development organization.
The manager provides team coverage during absences and leads special high-impact projects, with exposure to multiple second- and third-line leaders.
The primary focus is leading outbound Sales Development teams and influencing pipeline production.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage SDR objectives, activity metrics, and performance achievement while conducting weekly coaching meetings.
- Coach outbound best practices including cold calling, sequencing, and messaging.
- Monitor lead processes and KPIs, drive pipeline creation, and report operational and financial metrics to senior management.
- Cover team assignments typically lasting one to six months and maintain internal customer and business partner relationships.
- Act as proxy for QBRs, performance conversations, team meetings, and cross-functional syncs.
- Recruit, interview, onboard, and train SDRs while contributing to strategic initiatives and special projects.
Experience Requirements
- Direct SDR or BDR experience with applicable team lead or management experience is required.
