Role Overview
The employer is seeking a motivated and organized Sales Coordinator for its Logistics and Shipping team.
The role supports sales activity and requires experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with quotations, pricing, and customer follow-up.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, transporters, customers, and the operations team.
- Prepare and maintain sales reports, quotations, and customer records.
- Handle customer inquiries through email, phone calls, and meetings.
- Follow up on shipments and keep customers updated on shipment status.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
- One to three years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping.
- Good knowledge of sea freight, air freight, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- UAE experience and a valid UAE driving license are advantageous, not mandatory.
Salary and Benefits
- The posting states a salary of AED 4,000 to AED 5,000 per month based on experience.
- Benefits include visa and medical insurance, annual leave, an air ticket under UAE Labor Law, and performance-based incentives.
