Role Overview
The role supports logistics and shipping operations through pricing, quotations, customer coordination, shipment follow-up, and documentation.
The position works with the sales, operations, shipping line, agent, transporter, and customer networks.
Location and Work Arrangement
- The role is based in Dubai, UAE.
- The work location is in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team with quotations, pricing, and customer follow-ups.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, transporters, and customers.
- Prepare sales reports, quotations, and customer records.
- Handle customer inquiries through email, phone calls, and meetings.
- Track shipments and keep customers updated on shipment status.
- Coordinate with operations to ensure smooth shipment execution.
- Maintain customer relationships and identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed on time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or shipping.
- Knowledge of sea freight, air freight, and customs procedures.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and deadline-management skills.
- UAE experience and a valid UAE driving license are advantageous.
Salary and Benefits
- The stated pay is AED 4,000–5,000 per month.
- The package includes visa, medical insurance, annual leave, and an air ticket according to UAE Labor Law.
