Job Summary
The Sales Associate will assist customers, promote products and services, achieve sales targets, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers professionally and recommend suitable products or services.
- Promote products, offers, promotions, and new products to customers.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Upsell and cross-sell products and services when appropriate.
- Maintain customer relationships and encourage repeat business.
- Provide accurate information about products, prices, features, and availability.
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and concerns professionally.
- Process sales transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
- Maintain product displays and keep the sales area clean and organized.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate replenishment.
- Maintain product knowledge, follow company policies, and coordinate with other departments.
- Prepare or submit sales reports and perform other assigned sales-related duties.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of experience in sales, retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a related degree is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service, selling, negotiation, and persuasion skills are required.
