- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of health and safety programs, procedures, and policies
- Conduct regular safety inspections in the workplace to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Monitor workplace activities and enforce safe work practices
- Conduct safety training sessions and provide health and safety education to employees and contractors
- Participate in hazard assessments, safety analyses, and incident investigations
- Maintain records and reports of safety inspections, training, and incidents
- Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment
- Participate in emergency preparedness drills and training
- Promote safety awareness through campaigns, workshops, and safety initiatives
- Assist in internal and external audits related to health and safety
- Monitor safety performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support the management of health and safety resources and budgets
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field from an accredited institution
- Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is a prerequisite
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is preferred
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA certifications are highly desirable

Role Overview
- The Safety Technician is responsible for enhancing a safe and healthy work environment and maintaining it across all areas of the company.
- The role involves working closely with management, supervisors, employees, and contractors to identify and assess hazards, evaluate risks, and implement effective control measures, ensuring compliance with established safety systems and occupational health and safety standards.
- The Safety Technician supports the development of a robust safety culture through training, awareness, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
