Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety and security policies and procedures adapted to sports facilities.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate and lead emergency preparedness and response planning for sporting events and daily operations.
- Oversee access control, crowd management, and surveillance systems to ensure facility security.
- Provide training and awareness programs to staff and stakeholders on safety and security best practices.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement, emergency services, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and effective coordination.
- Investigate security incidents, accidents, or safety breaches and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor regulatory changes and industry standards related to sports facility safety and security, recommending necessary updates.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Security Management, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in safety and security management, preferably with a focus on sports or entertainment facilities.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, security protocols, and risk management principles applicable to sports venues.
- Experience in emergency preparedness, crowd control, and incident response planning.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant professional certifications such as NEBOSH, CPP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
