- Implement corporate HSE Policy, HSE plan, and HSE legislation; monitor HSE performance and suggest improvements
- Ensure client safety requirements are fulfilled
- Liaise with safety manager and contractors for HSE management improvement
- Monitor contractors to ensure implementation of safety measures at site
- Review site safety plans, emergency plans, method statements, and risk analyses
- Conduct HSE inspections and report to resident engineer
- Review and monitor contractors monthly HSE inspections/reports
- Conduct monthly safety meetings and prepare minutes
- Review emergency preparedness, permit to work system, toolbox talks, and HSE statistics
- Review incident/accident investigation reports and communicate learning points
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction related Engineering or Occupational Safety and Health
- Minimum 12+ years experience as Safety Engineer in infrastructure projects in UAE
- Recognized Health and Safety certifications (e.g., ISO, NEBOSH, First Aid, Fire Safety)
- Must be able to attend in person interviews
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of Federal Laws and Sharjah regulations

Job Description
