Job Description

We are seeking experienced

Safety Inspectors (Hse)

to join the supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately

100 km north of Jeddah

.

The selected candidates will assist in monitoring site activities and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards across all construction works.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily site safety inspections to ensure compliance with approved HSE procedures and project safety requirements.
  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure safe execution of construction works.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report them to the Safety Engineer and project management team.
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all workers on site.
  • Monitor construction activities related to road networks and multi-utility infrastructure, including:
  • + Potable water networks
  • + Firefighting systems
  • + Gas distribution systems
  • + Stormwater drainage and sanitary sewage systems
  • + Power distribution (MV & LV)
  • + Street lighting and telecom infrastructure
  • + Irrigation and landscape works
  • Assist in conducting toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
  • Support investigations of incidents, accidents, and near misses and maintain safety records.
  • Ensure compliance with method statements, risk assessments, and HSE plans.
  • Maintain site safety reports, inspection records, and documentation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in construction health and safety for infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in roads and multi-utility infrastructure works.
  • Previous experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of construction safety procedures and HSE standards.
  • Strong observation, reporting, and communication skills.
