Responsibilities
- Monitor daily HSE compliance in rolling mill, utility areas, warehouses, and material handling areas.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and report unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.
- Ensure proper implementation of Permit to Work (PTW) for high risk activities.
- Monitor Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) compliance during breakdown and shutdown maintenance.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and enforce safety discipline among workers and contractors.
- Conduct toolbox talks and assist in HSE training and safety awareness programs.
- Support incident, near miss, and unsafe condition reporting and investigation.
- Coordinate fire safety checks and ensure emergency equipment readiness.
- Monitor environmental practices such as dust control, waste disposal, and chemical handling.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and daily/weekly safety documentation.
Requirements
- Experience in safety inspection, preferably in steel industry or heavy industrial environment.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
- Familiarity with permit to work and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Ability to conduct toolbox talks and HSE training.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Role Description

- The role includes conducting site inspections, identifying hazards such as hot work, heavy equipment, and confined spaces, and ensuring proper control measures are in place.
