Safety Data Sheet Author

Author and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) in line with regulatory requirements.

Compile and manage extended Safety Data Sheets (eSDS) for REACh compliance.

Control revision, issue and distribution of product safety documentation.

Respond to customer requests and queries relating to SDS documentation.

Manage hazard communication data within SDS, labelling and ERP systems.

Develop regulatory content for health and safety labels.

Provide technical support on hazard classification and labelling issues.

Liaise with suppliers to maintain regulatory and composition data.

Ensure compliance through change management and regulatory updates.

Support training, continuous improvement and hazardous goods classification.

Qualifications:

Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Health & Safety, or related discipline.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in regulatory affairs or product stewardship.

Strong knowledge of GHS hazard classification and SDS preparation.

Understanding of health & safety labelling and packaging regulations.

Knowledge of REACh regulations and compliance requirements.

Ability to obtain or hold hazardous goods transport certification.

Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail.

Strong communication and training delivery skills.

Proficient in IT systems, databases, and document management tools.

Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
