Maintenance Engineer

Own and manage the planned preventative maintenance (PPM) program ensuring all pilot plant equipment remains safe, reliable, and operational.

Develop, implement, and continuously improve maintenance schedules to maximize equipment availability, performance, and reliability.

Provide hands-on technical support for equipment breakdowns, diagnosing faults and coordinating timely repairs to minimize downtime.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with engineering best practices, company safety standards, operating procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with the R&D Technical Manager to effectively plan and schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to pilot plant operations.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and reports to support compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage external service providers and contractors, acting as the primary site contact and ensuring work is completed safely and to agreed service levels.

Control spare parts and maintenance inventory, including stock management, ordering, storage, and mitigation of supply risks.

Lead root cause investigations following equipment failures and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.

Promote and uphold a strong safety culture by ensuring safe isolation procedures, contractor compliance, and adherence to safe working practices always.
