Your Role

• As the SAC Planning Tech Lead for the Retail Planning track at Capgemini, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering advanced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning solutions tailored to the unique needs of the retail sector.
• You will lead the technical design, development, and implementation of planning solutions that empower retail businesses to optimize their planning cycles and drive measurable business value.
• Lead the end-to-end technical delivery of SAC Planning solutions for retail, from requirements analysis through to deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and functional teams to understand planning needs and translate them into effective SAC Planning models and workflows.
• Design and develop planning models, data actions, allocations, and advanced calculations within SAC to support retail-specific scenarios such as merchandise planning, assortment planning, and inventory optimization.
• Integrate SAC Planning with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and other data sources, ensuring seamless and consistent data flows.
• Establish technical best practices, coding standards, and reusable assets to drive quality and efficiency in SAC Planning implementations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering knowledge sharing and high-quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to planning models, data integration, and system performance.
• Stay current with the latest SAC Planning features, SAP roadmap, and industry trends to continuously enhance solution offerings.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Document technical solutions, architectures, and processes for ongoing support and future enhancements.

Your Skills And Experience

• ------------------------------
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experienced in SAP Analytics Cloud, with at least 3 years focused on SAC Planning implementations.
• Proven expertise in retail planning processes and a track record of delivering planning solutions in retail environments.
• Deep knowledge of SAC Planning model design, data actions, allocations, advanced formulas, and scripting.
• Experience integrating data from SAP and non-SAP sources (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, flat files, APIs).
• Solid understanding of retail business processes such as sales forecasting, inventory management, and merchandise/assortment planning.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience in Agile project environments is a plus.
• SAP certification in SAC Planning or related modules is preferred.
