Role overview
Orion Group is hiring a Rotating Equipment Engineering Specialist for an operations expansion start-up in Qatar.
The role supports rotating equipment engineering during EPC and start-up until handover to the permanent asset.
The position focuses on safety, operability, reliability, and maintainability over the facility life cycle.
Work location
- The work location is Qatar Onshore.
Contract and schedule
- The initial contract duration is 15 to 24 months.
- The work schedule is 8 to 10 hours per day from Sunday through Thursday.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a science degree with an engineering specialization.
- Eight years of experience in the relevant specialization within the oil and gas industry.
- Expert knowledge of large-scale industrial machinery, including gas turbines, compressors, dry gas seals, and pumps.
