This unit requires a nurse to think ahead of the patient, teach the patient about their disorder, and help them navigate through the challenges they will face.
This unit will offer you the ability to maintain your basic nursing skills while perfecting progressive nursing techniques.

Requirements
- 1 year psychiatric experience preferred
SPECIAL SKILL, LICENSE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Current Louisiana RN licensure
- Psychiatric-Mental Health Certification encouraged/preferred
- Addiction Certification encouraged/preferred
