Patient Care Associate II - Obstetrics - Part-time - Day

Must be motivated, respectful, and hard working.

Excellent communication and listening skills are required.

Mother-Baby/Surgical floor specialty care.

Service-Friendly individualized patient care where patients come first each and every shift.

*Obtain and document vital signs according to age-appropriate skills

*Monitor and document intake and output

*Assist patient/families with ADLs

*Assist with initiation and removal of non-invasive monitoring equipment, as directed

*Report changes in patient's condition in a timely manner to appropriate primary nurse

*Assist with collection of specimens and transport of specimens

*Ensures patient safety

*Assists with transport of patients as directed

*Performs waste removal from all areas of patient care area

*Stocks and maintains supplies, assists with the cleanliness of the work environment

*Actively participates in maintaining a clean, organized environment

*HIPAA

*Will be trained for specialty area skills required during orientation
