Role purpose
The Risk Officer will develop, implement, and oversee the risk management framework for regulated financial services businesses.
The role focuses on alternative asset managers and Category 3C entities.
The position acts as a second line of defence and provides independent risk oversight and reporting to senior management and boards.
Location and regulatory environment
- The role is listed for Dubai or Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- The regulatory environment includes ADGM/FSRA and DIFC/DFSA.
Risk responsibilities
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report on investment, market, liquidity, operational, regulatory, conduct, technology/cyber, and third-party risks.
- Work closely with senior management, Compliance, and investment teams.
- Provide independent risk oversight and reporting to senior management and boards.
- Engage with the ADGM/FSRA regulator as part of the role.
Required experience and qualifications
- Have 5–10 years of risk management experience within financial services.
