Role overview
An established alternative investment and institutional markets platform is seeking an experienced Emerging Markets Fixed Income Trader in Dubai.
The role focuses on emerging-markets credit across high-yield, sovereign, quasi-sovereign, and corporate bonds.
The position combines trade execution, idea generation, market analysis, and portfolio support.
Key responsibilities
- Trade emerging-markets sovereign, quasi-sovereign, and corporate bonds.
- Identify opportunities across high-yield and investment-grade credit.
- Execute across primary and secondary fixed-income markets.
- Generate relative-value and tactical trading ideas.
- Monitor credit spreads, yield curves, interest rates, liquidity, and macro developments.
- Provide market colour and execution insight to the investment team.
- Build relationships with regional and international banks, brokers, and trading counterparties.
- Source liquidity, negotiate execution, and support portfolio positioning and risk management.
Candidate requirements
- Approximately 5 to 10 or more years of relevant fixed income trading experience.
