Role Overview

Foodics is seeking a Business Continuity Management Specialist with a strong IT and Disaster Recovery background.

The role supports organizational response and recovery from disruptions by coordinating DR activities and maintaining BCM and IT resilience processes.

The position works with IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders to implement resilience requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of BCM and IT Disaster Recovery frameworks.
  • Coordinate disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution with IT and technology teams.
  • Assist with business impact analysis and risk assessments across business and IT functions.
  • Track BCM and DR action plans, ensuring timely closure and management reporting.
  • Maintain business continuity and disaster recovery documentation, including recovery strategies and procedures.
  • Participate in tests, exercises, simulations, post-test reviews, and improvement actions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure BCM and DR requirements are understood and implemented.
  • Support regulatory, audit, and internal assessment requirements related to BCM and IT resilience.
  • Prepare BCM and DR reports, dashboards, and metrics for management and committee reporting.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in BCM, IT Disaster Recovery, or IT Risk/Resilience roles.
  • Strong understanding of DR technologies, IT infrastructure, and application recovery concepts.
  • Knowledge of BCM lifecycle activities, including BIA, risk assessment, strategy development, and testing.
  • Familiarity with SAMA and other regulatory requirements related to BCM, DR, and operational resilience.
  • Good skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Good command of English; Arabic is an advantage.
  • Hands-on BCM and IT/DR experience is required, and the role is not open to fresh graduates.
