About the Role

Responsibilities
- Support customer pricing breakdown by providing benchmarking and profit ROI breakdown for deal optimization
- Conduct post audit routines to assess actual performance vs. forecasted to identify actionable tactics
- Provide stewardship in the pricing decision process and contract management routines
- Manage key relationships with stakeholders in sales, finance and operations
- Support the optimization of customer promotion activities by evaluating depth/frequency and pricing slopes
- Measure trade spend ROI for promotions vs. base, provide recommendations to optimize spend
- Assist in developing go to market business cases with a lens to both internal pricing and external retail price data
- Complete post audit routines to track performance of innovation SKUs
- Conduct studies for projects assigned to the RGM team and support cross functional teams
- Assist in business planning by assessing planning files vs. key assumptions
- Assist in building yearly rate increase by examining current internal pricing, external retail information, COGS and volume elasticity
- Provide breakdown for monthly and Year to date reporting with an emphasis on results vs. business plan and prior year
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (commerce, finance, economics, data science, mathematics or general business)
- 1 3 years of business analysis experience (sales, category management, commercial or finance preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in excel with an ability to model large data sets
- Collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking

About This Opportunity
- Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Revenue Growth Management, the Specialist assists in the development of analytical tools and provides inquiry based on centralized data to support management routines and fact based decision making.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- 1 3 years of business analysis experience

- Experience with SAP Power BI reporting, Tableau, AC Nielsen an asset

Role Details
- Work Location – Toronto
- Shift/Hours – In office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Remote Monday & Friday.
- Full base salary range CAD 82,800 CAD 92,000 annually
