Role Overview
Support the Commercial Department in coordinating retention-related activities for completed and ongoing projects.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, project teams, and contractors to close pending works, documentation, approvals, and retention release.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor retention works and project closure activities for completed projects.
- Follow up for retention release and collection with clients, consultants, authorities, contractors, and internal teams.
- Track retention amounts, pending works, authority comments, snag lists, punch points, approvals, and release status.
- Coordinate rectification works and closure of outstanding comments with project and site teams.
- Prepare retention trackers, status reports, supporting documents, and project closure records.
- Submit and follow up on as-built drawings, test reports, completion documents, inspection clearances, and approval records.
- Liaise with DEWA, Dubai Municipality, RTA, and other stakeholders for project closure and approvals.
- Maintain retention correspondence, submission, approval, and follow-up records.
- Support Commercial on retention issues and coordinate with Finance on payment and collection follow-up.
- Prepare management updates on pending works, expected releases, and outstanding collections.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements, contractual obligations, and authority requirements.
