Procurement and Subcontracting
- Manage complete procurement and subcontracting activities for power transmission and distribution projects.
- Review BOQs, drawings, specifications, project scope, and procurement requirements.
- Prepare procurement and subcontracting plans based on project schedules and site requirements.
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors for electrical works, materials, equipment, and installation activities.
Electrical Materials and Equipment
- Procure HT/LT cables, cable accessories, transformers, RMUs, switchgear, panels, poles, towers, earthing materials, and related items.
- Monitor material production, inspections, delivery schedules, and site requirements.
Commercial Negotiation
- Prepare RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare comparison statements, and negotiate prices and commercial terms.
- Review technical and commercial offers with Engineering, Project, Quantity Surveying, and Commercial teams.
- Prepare and negotiate subcontract agreements, work orders, scopes of work, rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Performance and Coordination
- Monitor subcontractor performance, progress, resources, quality, and timely completion of works.
- Coordinate with Project, Engineering, Planning, QS, Commercial, Finance, and Stores teams.
- Control procurement and subcontract costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve supplier and subcontractor issues related to quality, delivery, scope, rates, and payments.
- Maintain approved supplier and subcontractor databases and evaluate performance.
Required Experience
- Strong UAE experience in power transmission and distribution projects is mandatory.
- Strong subcontract management experience is mandatory.
- Experience with electrical works, materials, equipment, and installation procurement is required.
- Experience reviewing BOQs, drawings, specifications, project scopes, and procurement requirements is required.
Core Capabilities
- Ability to negotiate prices, commercial terms, subcontract agreements, work orders, rates, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Ability to coordinate across Project, Engineering, Planning, QS, Commercial, Finance, and Stores functions.
Pay
- Monthly pay is AED 18,000 to AED 20,000.

- The work location is in person.
