Role Overview
RIVERS WORLD is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Specialist for its fashion and apparel retail branches.
The role focuses on customer service, product advice, customer relationships, and achievement of sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, identify their needs, and provide suitable product advice.
- Convert customer inquiries into sales and achieve individual and branch targets.
- Build lasting customer relationships to support brand loyalty.
- Apply in-branch marketing and sales strategies and promote current offers.
- Maintain the branch appearance and create attractive apparel and product displays.
- Recommend complementary items to increase sales value.
- Process payments, returns, and exchanges accurately using computer and point-of-sale systems.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary school education or higher.
- At least two years of previous sales experience.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Proficiency with computers and point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to maintain a neat, professional appearance.
- Ability to commit to required work schedules.
Compensation
- The role provides a monthly salary.
- Weekly performance rewards and monthly sales-based commissions are offered.
