Retail Operations and Quality Auditor

About the Role

Product Quality and Merchandising

• Conduct scheduled and unannounced branch audit visits.
• Inspect product freshness, shelf life, expiry dates, FEFO/FIFO protocols, and damaged stock removal.
• Audit visual merchandising, planogram compliance, shelf pricing, and promotional campaign execution.
• Inspect chillers, freezers, and dry displays for temperature, hygiene, and maintenance.

Inventory, Cash, and Loss Prevention

• Perform random spot checks and cycle counts on high-value, fast-moving, or high-shrinkage items.
• Audit wastage, shrinkage, damage write-offs, and store return logs.
• Conduct random register, till, and petty cash audits.

Health, Safety, and Food Compliance

• Audit HACCP guidelines, temperature logbooks, sanitation protocols, and pest control compliance.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality food safety regulations and internal SOPs.
• Enforce personal hygiene, grooming, uniform, and safe food-handling standards.
• Identify hygiene and safety training gaps and report development needs.

Customer Experience and Reporting

• Evaluate store cleanliness, lighting, music levels, entrance presentation, and aisle navigation.
• Observe customer service, greeting etiquette, checkout efficiency, and product knowledge.
• Generate branch audit scorecards and develop corrective plans with Store Managers.
• Conduct follow-up visits to verify compliance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• HACCP Certification at Level 3 or Level 4 Food Safety qualification is required.
• Two to four years of relevant experience in retail auditing, quality assurance, food safety compliance, or loss prevention is stated.
• A valid UAE driving licence and personal vehicle are mandatory for daily multi-site travel.
• High attention to detail, objective reporting, and accountability skills are required.
• Willingness to travel 75% is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is listed as AED 1 to AED 2 per month.
