Retail Merchandiser

RESPONSIBILITIES

• MARKET AND CATEGORY EXPERTISE
• Frequent store visits to develop product expertise, analyze store feedback, and identify market trends
• Share relevant qualitative and quantitative insights, supported by detailed analysis to identify business opportunities and highlight potential risks
• Work closely with department managers in defining action plans to achieve departmental targets
• Contribute to the success of animations and events by ensuring the appropriate product assortment, coordinating with Central Planning on deliveries, collaborating on VM plans, and providing tools to support the retail team
• ASSORTMENT STRATEGY & BUYING
• Produce analyses, support tools, and recommend the budget split by category and product line for the pre-buying preparation
• Support the stores during the buying to ensure a coherent and customer-focused assortment, maintaining a strong balance between novelties and bestsellers
• Monitor PSI and replenishment in collaboration with the Merchandising Manager
• Coordinate with the Visual Merchandising and store teams to support seasonal launches
• PERFORMANCRE REPORTS
• Monitor sales performance and generate analyses using NeoBi and Cegid
• Produce monthly performance reports and update sell-through and picture reports to share with relevant stakeholders
• Analyse best sellers by sell-through, assortment mix, price points, colours, and sizes to maximize sales potential
• STOCK MANAGEMENT & PERFORMANCE OPTIMIZATION
• Monitor and place reorders in line with target MOS and inventory levels
• Ensure optimal regional inventory levels and stock efficiency through stock transfers and replenishment actions
• Coordinate with VM and store teams to highlight slow movers
• CROSS-FUNCTIONAL COLLABORATION
• Share, implement and adapt the Europe strategy within the subsidiary and while bringing forward best practices from the community
• Work closely with the Métiers to implement strategies locally and achieve growth ambitions
• Be the key liaison between the Stores and Métiers, ensuring effective communication of feedback and key information
• Be a key partner to the store managers, métier ambassadors and VM teams
• PROFILE
• 3-4 years of experience in Retail Merchandising/Buying with an understanding of Visual Merchandising
• Strong analytical skills and solid knowledge of merchandising KPIs and metrics
• Proficient with Excel and IT tools (Pivot tables, Vlookup) as well as Word and Power point
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with retail and corporate teams
• Highly organized, reliable, and a strong team player
• Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Business and oriented mindset, proactive and solution-driven, with the ability to propose new ideas
