Responsibilities
- Organize and manage all retail operations
- Develop and implement leasing strategies for the retail real estate portfolio
- Ensure occupancy and rental revenue targets are met consistently
- Optimize real estate portfolio performance
- Analyze market trends and conduct market research to determine competitive leasing rates
- Negotiate lease agreements with potential tenants
- Maintain relationships with existing tenants and address issues
- Develop relationships with brokers and potential tenants to promote available space
- Prepare leasing reports, budgets, and forecasts
- Review tenant applications and perform credit checks
- Work with Property Management team to ensure properties are well maintained
- Attend leasing meetings, conferences, and industry events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in leasing commercial properties
- At least 5 years in a management role
- Proven track record of negotiating lease agreements and achieving maximum occupancy
- Strong knowledge of local real estate market and industry trends
- Real Estate Broker or Salesperson license from RERA/DMT
- Professional certification such as Certified Leasing Professional (CLP) preferred

Job Brief
- Experienced Retail Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth running to maximize sales and minimize costs.
- Analyze market trends and conduct market research to determine competitive leasing rates and pricing strategies.
Retail Manager Responsibilities
- Organizing and managing all retail operations
- Develop and implement leasing strategies for the retail real estate portfolio.
- Ensure occupancy and rental revenue targets are met consistently.
- Optimize real estate portfolio performance.
- Negotiate lease agreements with potential tenants, ensuring lease terms are in accordance with company policies.
- Maintain relationships with existing tenants, addressing any issues and ensuring their needs are met.
- Develop relationships with brokers and potential tenants, actively promoting available space.
- Prepare leasing reports, budgets, and forecasts for the Mall, Traditional Souq, Retail Shops and other retail properties.
- Review tenant applications and perform credit checks to ensure financial viability.
- Work closely with the Property Management team to ensure properties are well maintained.
- Attend leasing meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain reputation.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in leasing commercial properties, with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating lease agreements and achieving maximum occupancy.
- Experience in developing and implementing leasing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the local real estate market and industry trends.
- Experience in managing leasing teams and working collaboratively with other departments.
- Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position.
- Professional certification in Real Estate, such as Certified Leasing Professional (CLP), is preferred.
- Real Estate Broker or Salesperson license from RERA/DMT.
