Key skills for this role
At Cozey, we're not just selling furniture. We're improving the living spaces of customers across Canada and the United States, and our vision is straightforward: to become the world's leading furniture company. We value data, learning, and adaptability, and we believe in a platform where ideas are heard, respected, and implemented, and where every team member is a key player in the journey.
Right now, that journey means opening stores. Every new Cozey location starts as drawings, permits, and a schedule, and ends as a space customers walk into. This internship puts you on the owner's side of that process, where the decisions get made.
Your mission is to help keep our store build-outs across Canada moving, by supporting our Retail Construction Project Manager (PM) on the coordination that holds a project together. Over your four-month internship, you'll work on live projects: maintaining trackers for schedules, budgets, and deliverables, organizing drawings, permits, and contracts, and preparing the reporting that keeps consultants, contractors, and internal teams aligned.
What makes this internship different is the vantage point. You'll be working from the owner's perspective, which means you'll see how build-out decisions actually get made rather than just executing someone else's. As the term progresses, you'll spend more time reading and interpreting construction documentation and following projects across the full lifecycle, from concept to opening day.
We're looking for someone highly analytical and growth-oriented, currently studying architecture, project management, or interior design, who's excited to be part of a growing Canadian start-up with very large ambitions.
Support the Retail Construction PM by keeping project trackers current for schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
