Key skills for this role
At Cozey, we're not just selling furniture. We're improving the living spaces of customers across Canada and the United States, and our vision is straightforward: to become the world's leading furniture company. We value data, learning, and adaptability, and we believe in a platform where ideas are heard, respected, and implemented, and where every team member is a key player in the journey.
That journey runs on our digital products. Every improvement to how customers discover, configure, and buy a Cozey piece starts as a decision someone on the product team made. This internship puts you inside those decisions, not adjacent to them.
Your mission is to learn how digital products actually get built at Cozey, by working closely with your manager on the day-to-day and taking at least one well-scoped feature from concept to production over your four-month internship.
That means you won't just be observing. You'll sit in on planning, design reviews, and engineering syncs to understand how product decisions get made, then apply that to a feature you own yourself. You'll write the spec, work with engineering and design to build it, and look at the data once it's live to see whether it did what you said it would.
We're looking for someone curious and analytical who likes untangling problems, and who's excited to be part of a growing Canadian start-up with very large ambitions.
Own one digital feature end to end: define the problem with your manager, work with engineering and design to build it, and review how it performs once it's live.
Draft user stories, acceptance criteria, and specs for features on the tech roadmap.
Run user research and competitive scans that feed directly into prioritization decisions.
