Restaurant Manager - Enigma Restaurant & Q’s Bar

Role Overview

Operational Management

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and bar.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Maintain high standards of food, beverage, and service quality.

Staff Management

• Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house and bar staff.
• Create staff schedules and manage labor costs.
• Conduct performance reviews and promote team morale.

Customer Service

• Ensure an excellent guest experience through attentive service and a welcoming environment.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Inventory and Financial Control

• Manage food, beverage, and supply inventory.
• Control costs and minimize waste to meet profitability targets.
• Monitor daily revenue and expenses, prepare reports, and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate with suppliers and negotiate pricing when needed.

Entertainment and Marketing

• Schedule live performers and entertainment acts suited to the venue brand and target audience.
• Monitor guest feedback about entertainment and adjust programming accordingly.
• Ensure entertainment activities comply with licensing and local authority regulations.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotions and events, and monitor online reviews and social media presence.

Experience and Skills

• Proven restaurant or bar management experience, with 3 or more years preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations, POS systems, and inventory management.
• Familiarity with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and flexible work hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• WSET Beverage Service Certification is preferred.
• Experience with event planning or private dining services is preferred.
