Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager oversees daily restaurant operations, food and beverage service, customer satisfaction, staff performance, operational costs, company standards, hygiene, and safety compliance.
Operations and Service
- Coordinate and manage front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Deliver excellent food and beverage service and respond to customer complaints professionally.
- Organize, supervise, and monitor daily shifts.
- Review product quality and coordinate with vendors when required.
- Maintain adequate stock of food, kitchen, cleaning, and operational supplies.
People Management
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and service standards.
- Train new and existing employees on customer service standards, restaurant policies, and operational procedures.
Compliance and Performance
- Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety regulations.
- Maintain the restaurant's professional image and suggest operational improvements.
- Control operational costs and identify ways to reduce waste.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reports on revenue, expenses, and operational performance.
