Role Overview
Restaurant Manager role overseeing daily operations at a premium Japanese restaurant in Dubai, UAE.
The role focuses on smooth service, exceptional guest experience, team leadership, and operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
- Maintain guest experience, food quality, service, and presentation standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house team.
- Manage reservations, VIP guests, feedback, and complaints.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and kitchen team.
- Monitor sales, revenue, costs, inventory, and operational performance.
- Implement SOPs and maintain service, hygiene, and food safety standards.
- Conduct staff briefings and service training.
- Support promotions, menu launches, and special events.
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, health, safety, and UAE regulations.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of restaurant management experience.
- Previous experience in a Japanese restaurant is essential.
- Experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Japanese restaurant service and dining concepts.
- Premium, upscale, fine-dining, or international restaurant experience is preferred.
- UAE, GCC, or international hospitality experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, guest-service, restaurant operations, POS, sales, and cost-control skills.
