- Greet guests on arrival and conduct welcome procedures in an efficient and friendly manner

- Escort guests to tables and assist in seating, present water, menu and hand towels
- Inspect condition and cleanliness of menus and wine list
- Take orders from any food & beverage outlet menus
- Ensure all mise en place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening
- Recommend and promote items as directed by supervisor
- Ascertain guest satisfaction and ensure correct billing procedures
- Upsell all property facilities and activities
Requirements
- Minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality or Barista school
- More than one year’s experience in a similar operational role in luxury hotels
- Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Familiar with MICROS/point of sale platforms
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Knowledge of local language and customs

Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests on arrival in resort restaurants and conduct welcome procedures in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible as per Six Senses Standards.
- Answer outlet telephone courteously and efficiently as specified in departments standards.
- Escort guest to the table and assist in seating and present the water, menu and hand towels.
- Inspect condition and cleanliness of menus and wine list, ensure designated amounts are available, and update menus or wine lists as changes occur.
- Ensure that all guests are greeted courteously and attentively in the working area.
- Take orders from any food & beverage outlet menus.
- Ensure all mis en place for restaurant service is correctly prepared prior to opening hour of service.
- Follow the leadership of the captain or supervisor on shift.
- Have a good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B day to day activities.
- Recommend and promote items as directed by supervisor.
- Ascertains guest satisfaction and ensure that all guest billing procedures are handled correctly, minimizing rebates during check out and bid guest farewell.
- Upsell all property facilities and activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality or Barista school.
- More than one year’s experience in a similar operational role in luxury hotels with proven results.
- Technical skills include Advanced MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Familiar with various hotel systems including MICROS/point of sell platforms.
- Knowledge of hotel/resort and policies on discounts/food promotion etc.
- Familiar with Food and beverage terminology, application, operation, wine service, costs, menu development food and hygiene codes and controlling inventory.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with some knowledge of the local language and customs.
