- Control food stock and food cost in his section
- Prepare daily mise en place and food production in pastry & bakery section
- Follow instructions and recommendations from immediate superiors
- Ensure highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation
- Instruct and lead subordinates through daily requirements in food preparation
- Coordinate and participate with other sections on requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5 star hotel
- Ability to work with and engage teams from different cultures
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Quality oriented with focus on details
- Technical proficiency in related software preferable
