About the Role

- Supervise daily engineering activities and assign tasks to the maintenance team
- Ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests and colleagues
- Assist with preventive maintenance and respond promptly to maintenance requests
- Monitor inventory of engineering supplies and help minimise waste while supporting sustainability initiatives
- Support the Chief Engineer in maintaining hotel facilities and engineering operations
- Build strong relationships with guests, contractors, and regulatory agencies as needed
Requirements
- Some college or advanced vocational training
- Two or more years' experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or equivalent combination
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry systems
- Hotel experience preferred
- Professional certification or licence if required by law
- Good command of written and spoken English

Job Overview

What We Need from You
- Some college or advanced vocational training.
- Two or more years’ experience in general building maintenance and/or construction or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and carpentry systems.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Professional certification or licence if required by law.
- Good command of written and spoken English required.
