Guest Reception and Seating

  • Welcome and greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Manage reservations, walk-in guests, and waiting lists.
  • Confirm guest details, party size, and special requests.
  • Allocate tables according to the seating plan and operational requirements.
  • Escort guests to tables and present menus where applicable.
  • Monitor table occupancy and guest flow to minimize waiting and balance seating.

Coordination and Guest Support

  • Coordinate with supervisors and service staff regarding table availability, VIP guests, groups, and special requests.
  • Answer restaurant calls and respond professionally to reservation and dining enquiries.
  • Maintain reservation records and communicate changes to the relevant team.
  • Recognize VIPs, repeat guests, and in-house guests when information is available.
  • Assist guests with buffet offerings, promotions, and other hotel food and beverage outlets.
  • Promote appropriate restaurant packages, special offers, and food and beverage promotions when applicable.
  • Handle basic guest concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate manager when required.
  • Coordinate with the cashier regarding guest billing requirements when necessary.
  • Coordinate with Front Office when clarification of meal-plan entitlement is required.

Restaurant Operations

  • Keep the restaurant entrance, hostess desk, menus, and reservation area clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Support restaurant operations during busy periods by clearing simple items, preparing menus, or assisting service colleagues.
  • Participate in departmental briefings, training, and hotel activities.
  • Perform other reasonable duties assigned by hotel management.

Standards and Procedures

  • Maintain professional grooming, uniform, and personal hygiene standards at all times.
  • Follow hotel food safety, hygiene, health and safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of breakfast, lunch, and dinner timings, menus, promotions, and restaurant facilities.

Compensation

  • Pay is AED 2,342.52 to AED 3,000.00 per month.

Workplace

  • The role is performed in person.
