Job Summary
The employer is seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Restaurant Cashier.
The cashier will handle customer orders and payments, operate the POS system, maintain accurate cash records, and provide customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
- Process cash, card, and other approved payment methods and issue receipts.
- Maintain the cash float, count and reconcile cash, and record transactions accurately.
- Check prices, discounts, promotions, and bills before completing transactions.
- Keep the cashier counter and surrounding area clean and organized.
- Report cash discrepancies, payment issues, and POS problems to management.
- Follow restaurant policies, food-service standards, and cash-handling procedures.
- Assist with other restaurant duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Previous cashier, restaurant cashier, or customer-service experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of cash handling and POS systems is required.
- Strong numerical, basic computer, communication, and customer-service skills are required.
- Candidates must work accurately in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Honesty, responsibility, punctuality, and a well-presented appearance are expected.
- Teamwork and flexibility for shifts, weekends, and public holidays are required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,500 per month.
Work Location
- The work location is in person.
