Position Summary
Greet guests and inform them about property amenities, services, operating hours and local areas of interest.
Open doors, assist with vehicles and luggage, arrange transportation and follow up on guest requests or problems.
Serve as a departmental role model and support bellstand and guest-services operations.
Guest and Bellstand Services
- Assist guests and visitors entering and leaving the property.
- Assist with luggage storage and retrieval and transport luggage to and from guest rooms or designated bell areas.
- Assist guests with loading and unloading luggage from vehicles.
- Provide directions and arrange taxi, shuttle, limousine or sedan transportation.
- Record advance transportation requests and dispatch bell or valet staff as needed.
- Communicate parking procedures and follow up to ensure guest requests are satisfied.
Team and Property Standards
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
- Follow company policies and procedures and report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions.
