This role is not a remote opportunity.

To gain experience working in a dynamic food company by applying skills learned in food science.

To work independently on assigned projects and tasks, as well as assisting team on additional projects.

• Support design of new products based on targeted flavor profile, texture, color, shelf life and nutritional content while maintaining adherence to government and industry standards.
• Assist pilot and commercial scale up trials.
• Complete assigned analytical work
• Maintain good records and keep lab area in a clean and organized manner. Work on independent projects proactively.
• Responsible for food safety and food quality of samples handled by: Following GMP’s, maintaining sanitary conditions, adhering to safe work practices, and ensuring that product quality is maintained.

• Reporting any conditions or practices that may adversely impact food safety, food quality or personal safety to supervisor.
• Maintains consistent attendance; must have flexibility to work extended hours or off shifts if required.
