Requirements
- Master's degree in Bioinformatics or closely related discipline
- Experience in bioinformatic analysis
- Familiarity with molecular biology techniques (qRT PCR, Western blotting) is highly desirable

Job Description
- A 3 month (Oct Dec 2026) Research Assistant position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Sahar Mohsin at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, UAE University.
- The selected candidate will have the opportunity to transition into the PhD in Biomedical Sciences Program beginning in January, subject to meeting university admission requirements.
- The project focuses on the analysis of RNA Seq datasets generated from control, diabetic, and treatment groups.
Minimum Qualification
- BSc in Bioinformatics/ Molecular Genetics
Preferred Qualification
- MSc in Bioinformatics, Computational Biologist
Research Activities
- Identification and characterization of microRNAs (miRNAs) and long non coding RNAs (lncRNAs)

- Construction of competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) networks using bioinformatics approaches
