Overview
- Dow Jones Newswires is seeking two reporters to cover business, finance, economics, and markets across the Middle East.
- Based in Doha, you will be part of a region wide team supporting wider EMEA news operations.
- You will be expected to break news on capital flows and PE executive moves, conduct exclusive interviews, and deliver scoops on private markets and energy.
The Role
- Breaking News: Deliver scoops that drive professional readership and tap into existing or new sourcing to stay ahead of the market.
- Market Analysis: Quickly analyze news signals for investors, ranging from quick fire headlines to thematic long form articles.
- Global Contribution: Identify forward looking details from regional streams to produce informative, punchy English language content for our daily global report.
- Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Newswires and The Wall Street Journal to uphold Dow Jones standards and ethics.
You Will
