Job Description
- The Technical Writer will create new content positioning the organisation as a global thought leader in alternative energy, environmental technologies, and sustainability.
- Content will be collated with faculty and researchers and disseminated via website, e newsletter, op eds, and placement in journals, newspapers, and magazines.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate Science and Technology projects from the laboratory to a wider audience.
- Develop and write newspaper articles, features, press releases, media advisories, magazine articles, newsletter articles, and op eds.
- Develop and maintain professional contacts with news media editors and reporters.
- Develop and maintain working relationships with faculty, students, the dean, and administrators.
- Consult with faculty, the dean, and administrators on publicizing their activities and research.
- Develop news and feature articles for campus publications.
