Role Description
- The Reliability Engineer role at Arb Con Bin Zayed Construction is a part time, hybrid position based in Dubai, with a mix of on site work at project locations and some work from home flexibility.
- The Reliability Engineer will assess equipment performance, identify failure modes, and develop reliability improvement plans for construction machinery and critical systems.
Daily Tasks
- Conducting failure analysis, performing root cause investigations, and recommending corrective and preventive actions to reduce downtime.
- Implementing reliability centered maintenance strategies, monitoring asset health, and collaborating with operations, maintenance, and safety teams to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
- Preparing technical reports, maintaining reliability data, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in reliability engineering, including Reliability Engineering and Reliability Centered Maintenance skills.
- Proficiency in analytical skills to interpret performance data, identify trends, and support data driven decisions.
- Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, or construction related equipment.
- Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and communicate technical findings clearly to non technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline); advanced certifications in reliability or maintenance engineering are an advantage.
- Practical experience in construction, contracting, or industrial environments in the UAE or similar markets is preferred.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems, reliability tools, and basic safety and regulatory standards relevant to construction operations.
- Capacity to work effectively in a hybrid setup, manage part time schedules, and adapt to changing project needs.
